Mr. Thomas has been a media person and a Road Safety Publicity specialist for several years. Over the past twelve years he has been working as a Road Safety Publicity Expert for several projects in the country which includes 6 years experience as the head of Road Safety Publicity programme by Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP), a World Bank Financed Project. He has written several road safety educational books and materials for training children in road safety.  Currently he is heading a communication project (funded by the World Bank) for the Govt. of Kerala. 

As a media person his experience in working for famous media agencies such as TBS, CNN, and MCNG etc. had given him great exposure in various global issues and experience in traveling around the globe.

During his career, he has been privileged to represent Presidential Delegations, visited several war torn and famine struck countries, associated and worked along with several Human Right Agencies such as Amnesty International, National Human Right Commission etc.  As a war reporter (embedded journalist) he served under adverse climatic conditions and life risking areas.  He has experience in conducting various surveys at refugee camps and victims of war.  Since 1998 he is working as the CEO of Sherwood Technocrats and Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a consultancy firm specialized in Road Safety.
