SUPPORT ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT VICTIMS:
Not all who meet with Road Accidents are really killed. Death is not the only last destination of any road traffic accident. More than 10 times of those who are killed in traffic accidents are maimed or severely injured and manage to live the rest of their life as crippled, handicapped or paralyzed.
World Bank estimates that three-quarters of all poor families who lost a member to road traffic death reported a decrease in their standard of living, and 61 percent reported they had to borrow money to cover expenses following their loss.
The cost of treatment and other related expenses drain out the savings of many and in most cases they end up in huge debts. Many of them (those who are paralyzed) cannot even meet their basic needs of life without the help of others and this can cause acute frustration and stress.
