Dr. Vinod graduated from Medical College , Trichur in 1999.  After his graduation he joined Arafa Hospital , Malappuram, Kerala in the department of Accident & Emergency, Trauma care and general Medicine for nearly 5 years.  He is at present undergoing GP training and working as GP Registrar in Worcester, United Kingdom. He has done courses in Pediatric life support and Adult life Support.  He has work experience in Accident & Emergency and Pediatrics.  He has been associated with various voluntary organizations like Blood Donor's Forum in Medical College and organized free medical camps for the poor, blood donation camps, supplying of medicines at no cost etc.  He has a passion for Road Safety and he is determined to dedicate a considerable part of his time towards Road Safety.

He has retired as the Deputy Director of Health Service (NC), Kerala. During his service, he had been in-charge of departments such as: Emergency Medicine, Trauma Care, Casualty, Pediatrics and Neonatology, etc. He has also received special training in: Immediate Trauma & Life Support (ITLS), Advanced Pediatric Life support, Advanced Neonatal Life Support, TOT for Reproductive & Child Health, AIDS Control etc.

He has been associated with National Safety Council and Red Cross as training faculty. Presently he volunteers himself as a First Aid & Trauma Care trainer for various training programmes conducted by different organizations and Government Departments.

He has retired as the Assistant Manager/ General Foreman from Indian Aluminium Company Ltd. During his career, he was in-charge of over-all administration and maintenance of Engineering (Mechanical) Department. He has also served as Internal Auditor of ISO 9002 EMS 14001 and as a Faculty in Industrial Safety.

Presently he volunteers himself as a Safety Trainer for various Training Programmes organized by different Organizations. He is also a Govt. Approved Valuer for various Banks and Oil Companies such as IOC, IBP and also Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
